DATE/LOCATION/TIME: Always the Sunday of Columbus Day weekend. Check-in is at the Ripton Elementary School between 11:00-12:00. The races begin at 12:30.
REGISTRATION FEES: Fee includes a great lunch, raffle, awards and, for the first 175 entrants, a long-sleeved t-shirt. Racers may opt not to get a t-shirt -- subtract $5.00 from appropriate fee. REGISTRATION OPTIONS: If you are on our email list, you'll get an electronic reminder with links for registration on Sept. 1. (If you don't get it, look for it in your Spam folder!) If you are on our mailing list, you'll get a hard copy in the mail. There will be a downloadable, mail-in form on the registration page of this website as well as here. Starting Sept. 1, register on-line here. On-line registration closes several days before the race or after 125 registrations; mail-in and race day registration will continue. Race Day registration opens at 11:00 at the Ripton Elementary School. Prices increase Oct. 8th.  COURSE and MAP: The 5K run and fun walk are out and back courses. THE RIPTON RIDGE RUN is an annual fundraiser to benefit the Ripton Elementary School, put on by Friends of Ripton School, Inc. The race includes a 5K run, a 10.4K run, and a non-competitive 5K Fun Walk. There is also a short, non-competitive event for young children. The Ridge Run takes place on the Sunday of Columbus Day weekend. All courses start and finish at the Ripton Elementary School at 753 Lincoln Road in Ripton, VT. The race courses traverse roads in Ripton and the Green Mountain National Forest and include water stops. Funds raised from the Ridge Run enable Ripton’s students to have enrichment programs, materials and activities not possible within the regular school budget. The efforts of 50+ volunteers and many generous sponsors are central in making this annual celebration of Ripton and its school such a success. Please join in - run, walk and/or volunteer! We can use your help as a volunteer in many different ways, not just on the day of the race. There's bound to be a role that fits you! ----------------------------------- |
